Florida and Sarasota County collect 7% tax. The Food Corridor (TFC) is our back-office software that handles scheduling, invoicing, account creation, and payment processing — they charge 2% for ACH payments and 4% for credit card payments.
Short-term rentals considered on a case-by-case basis.
Suncoast Commissary can assist in helping create your new business entity (LLC or S. Corp) as well as obtaining your F.E.I.N., Florida Sales Tax Number, County and State Licenses, and Food Corridor account setup. The charge for this service is $750 (non-refundable).
This does not include fees paid directly to the state for your LLC ($125) or your DBPR / Dept. of Agriculture License ($450). Suncoast Commissary is assisting with paperwork only and is not offering legal or tax advice — please consult a tax or legal professional with any related questions.
Once you get your license, we will sit down and discuss exactly what your needs are and develop a customized proposal based on your specific business goals — for both now and in the future.
So now it's time to get cooking.
